This part is manly about how boys and girls learn to act the way they are "supposed to act."
Gender is taught everywhere you can think of ex:Mass media, teachers, parents, grandparents and almost anything you can think of.
Like when a child is born they either get a blue or a pink blanket. Girl is pink and boy is blue, but why is that? What if a mother wanted her daughter to have a blue blanket and not a pink?
Then as the children grow up the girls play with dolls and they boys play with trucks.
So as you can see the child starts learning behaviors about how they should act.
Our group thinks that parents are the main part in expressing on how the children should act, like the daughter helping to cook and clean, while the son is helping the father change a tire or something.
